Think Tank is Manly West State School's STEM enrichment program, providing students with opportunities to extend their learning across Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM).
Through a range of engaging learning experiences, students are encouraged to explore their interests, develop new skills, think creatively and solve real-world problems.
Queensland Virtual Academy – Grand Challenges
As part of
Think Tank, selected students have the opportunity to participate in Grand Challenges through the Queensland Virtual Academy (QVA), a statewide Department of Education initiative.
Grand Challenges provide students with innovative learning experiences where they can collaborate, think critically, explore big ideas and develop solutions to real-world STEM challenges.
STEM Club
Our STEM Club provides students with hands-on opportunities to experiment with technology, develop new skills and bring their ideas to life.
Students can explore activities including:
- Coding and programming
- 3D design and printing
- Game design and development
- Digital technologies
- STEM challenges and creative problem solving
STEM Club provides an engaging environment where students can experiment, create and develop their skills through hands-on projects and activities.
