Starting Prep is an exciting milestone, and at Manly West State School, we want every child to feel confident and prepared. Our Tank's First Steps Prep Transition Program is designed to make the move to school smooth, enjoyable, and engaging.
The program runs for 4 weeks, from Week 5 to Week 8 in Term 4, and gives children the chance to:
- Explore their new classroom and school environment
- Meet teachers and make new friends
- Develop early social and learning skills
- Learn routines that make starting Prep easier
